Traverse City, MI – Accident Reported at W Eleventh St & S Division St

Traverse City, MI (January 4, 2024) – Emergency officials out of Grand Traverse County were summoned to the site of an automobile accident that took place in Traverse City and resulted in injuries. The accident occurred at approximately 3:15 p.m. on January 2.

Police reports indicate that the right lane on the northbound side of South Division Street was blocked in the area near West 11^th Street as a result of an automobile accident that occurred. The incident prompted officials to shut down the intersection for approximately 30 minutes as they worked on the removal of the involved vehicles. Emergency medical services responded to the site of the collision to care for the injured victims. An unknown number of people were transported to area hospitals, where they were provided further treatment for the injuries they suffered in the crash. The circumstances surrounding the incident are being investigated.
