Grand Rapids, MI (January 15, 2024) – On January 14, emergency crews were summoned to provide assistance at the scene of an automobile accident that occurred in Kent County. The accident was reported to the Michigan Department of Transportation at approximately 2:00 p.m. on January 14.
Law enforcement reports indicate that a collision blocked the southbound side of US Highway 131 in the area near Burton Street. Authorities responded to the scene of the collision and closed off the roadway near Exit 82A as they worked to remove the involved vehicles from the roadway. Emergency medical services were summoned to care for injured victims and transport them to area hospitals. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
