Ganges Twp., MI (January 21, 2024) – The Michigan Department of Transportation reported a motor vehicle accident that took place during the evening hours on Saturday and ended in injuries. The crash was reported at around 6:15 p.m. on January 20.

According to reports provided by the West Michigan Transportation Operations Center, a motor vehicle accident blocked the eastbound and westbound sides of Michigan 89, 124^th Avenue. The incident caused delays in the area near 62^nd Street as emergency crews closed off the roadway for a significant period of time. Medical personnel rushed to the scene to immediately care for the injured victims. Those in need of additional medical attention were transported by ambulance to local medical facilities. The incident is currently under investigation by the police.
