Ridgeway Twp., MI (January 30, 2024) – The Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that a 55-year-old woman lost her life as a result of a fatal collision that occurred on Monday morning in Ridgeway Township. Authorities were notified of the crash at around 7:20 a.m. on January 29.

According to official reports, a 2015 Chevrolet Malibu was traveling east on Michigan 50 when it collided with a 2011 Ford F350 pickup truck. The incident prompted the closure of the roadway near Rixom Highway. The driver of the Chevrolet was fatally injured in the accident and pronounced deceased by authorities. The driver of the Ford was transported to an area hospital for the treatment of injuries. At this time, the Lenawee County Accident Investigation Team is investigating the incident.
