Birmingham, MI (February 9, 2024) – The Michigan Department of Transportation informed the state police and firefighters that they were needed at the scene of an automobile accident in the Birmingham area. The collision occurred at approximately 6:20 p.m. on February 7.
According to official reports provided by MDOT, a collision took place on the northbound side of Woodward Avenue. The incident blocked multiple lanes of the road between 14 Mile Road and South Adams Road. Significant delays were reported in the area while the police and firefighters remained on site. At least one person was transported to a local hospital for medical care. The crash is under investigation.
