Royal Oak, MI – Accident with Injuries Reported at I-696 & Campbell Rd

Royal Oak, MI (February 11, 2024) – The Michigan Department of Transportation reported a motor vehicle accident that took place in Oakland County on Saturday afternoon. The accident was reported to officials at approximately 1:40 p.m. on February 10.

Law enforcement reports indicate that a collision occurred on the eastbound side of Interstate 696. The crash blocked multiple lanes near Campbell Road. Medical personnel responded to the crash site to care for injured victims. An unknown number of people were transported to local hospitals for further medical care. The Michigan State Police are currently investigating the accident.
