Flint, MI (February 14, 2024) – On February 13, officers with the Flint Police Department and area firefighters were called to the scene of a car crash that sent at least one person to a local hospital with injuries. Calls for help came in at approximately 12:20 p.m. Reports provided by the Flint Police Department show that a collision occurred on the northbound side of Interstate 475.
The incident prompted police and firefighters to respond. Law enforcement immediately closed down multiple lanes on the roadway near the westbound side of Interstate 69. Delays were reported in the area while police officers and firefighters remained on site. At least one person suffered injuries due to this motor vehicle accident. Emergency medical services responded to treat those harmed before transporting them to local hospitals. The crash is currently under investigation by the police.
