Detroit, MI – Injury Crash Reported at Hubbell St & W Outer Dr

Detroit, MI (March 18, 2024) – A motor vehicle accident with entrapment sent at least one person to an area hospital for the treatment of injuries. The accident occurred at around 12:30 p.m. on March 16.

According to reports from the Detroit Fire Department, an automobile accident occurred on Hubbell Street at the intersection of West Outer Drive. Authorities arrived at the scene and located one elderly man and three additional victims trapped in their vehicles. At least one of the vehicles involved in the accident overturned. Emergency crews immediately went to work on removing the involved victims. A total of four people had to be extricated from their vehicles. Emergency medical services responded to the scene of the accident to care for the injured parties. Detroit EMS medic 22 transported injured victims to local hospitals for further care. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
