Galesburg, MI (March 23, 2024) – Two people were transported to area hospitals with injuries following a major motor vehicle accident that occurred in Galesburg on Wednesday evening, March 20. The Michigan Department of Transportation reported the accident at around 10:15 p.m.

According to official reports, a motor vehicle accident occurred on westbound side of Interstate 94. The impact of the crash caused one of the vehicles involved in the accident, identified as a sedan, to go off the roadway and overturn just after 35^th Street. Two people were injured as a result of the accident. The victims, a 41-year-old man in a 41-year-old female, were both transported to area hospitals for emergency treatment. The crash is under investigation.
