Washtenaw Co., MI – Accident Reported on M-14 near US-23

Washtenaw Co., MI (March 25, 2024) – Law enforcement officers across Washtenaw County were summoned to assist at the scene of a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Saturday evening.

Preliminary reports provided by the Michigan Department of Transportation indicate that at around 5:10 p.m. on March 23, a collision blocked several westbound lanes on Michigan 14. Authorities arrived at the scene and located the involved vehicles blocking the road just after the northbound entrance to US Highway 23 at Exit 45. The incident resulted in the closure of the freeway as emergency crews remained at the scene. Medical personnel responded to treat those harmed on-site and transport them to area hospitals. The police and firefighters remained at the scene to clear the road and reopen the freeway. Investigations into the accident are underway.
