Highland Park, MI (April 17, 2024) – A pedestrian accident reported in the Highland Park area send a child to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries. The Detroit Police Department and area firefighters were called to the scene of the accident at around 9:50 p.m. on April 15.

Official reports indicate that a child was struck by a vehicle on Woodward Avenue near Davison North Service Drive. The child was injured as a result of an automobile accident. Emergency medical services were requested at the scene of the accident to care for the victim. The pedestrian was transported to a hospital in an area for further medical care.
