6 Students Injured in School Bus Crash on Lincoln Lake Avenue Spencer Township

Spencer Township, MI. - Six students were injured after a school bus they were on veered off the roadway and crashed Monday afternoon.

According to the Kent County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened around 3:10 p.m. on Lincoln Lake Avenue near 17 Mile Road.

Thirteen students were on the bus traveling northbound when the driver reportedly experienced a medical emergency. The Greenville Public Schools bus veered off the roadway and crashed into a tree.

Six students suffered minor injuries in the accident.

Two of the students were taken to the hospital along with the bus driver.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
