Lansing, MI - 16 Hurt in St Johns Trolley Rollover on Clinton St

Detroit, MI (November 15, 2023) - Residents of an apartment complex in Detroit were ordered to leave their homes on Wednesday morning after a fire broke out in one of the units, according to authorities. The incident occurred at 666 West Bethune Street, in the shadow of the Fisher building, a few streets away from Henry Ford Hospital. The blaze was extinguished, but investigators are still trying to figure out what caused the fire to start in an apartment on the fifth floor. Police have not commented on the incident, but unconfirmed reports indicate that at least one renter jumped from the building, resulting in their hospitalization. The officials did not provide any other information. An inquiry into the fire's origin is ongoing.
