Grand Rapids, MI (December 27, 2021) - An auto accident occurred on a roadway in Kent County, Grand Rapids on the morning of December 27, Monday. Sources indicate that the crash happened at approximately 6:37 a.m.
Police and paramedics were dispatched to 44th Street near Interstate 696 where they assisted injured parties and investigated the circumstances of the wreck. Upon their arrival, they found that at least one person was in need of emergency medical assistance.
The identities of the involved parties have not been made public at this time as police continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident. Multiple travel lanes were blocked for some time after the incident occurred in order to allow responders to work in the area.
