Charles Twp, MI (January 12, 2022) - A hit-and-run crash in Charles Township on Tuesday evening, January 11, left one man dead. The fatal accident took place on Interstate 94 near mile marker 87 at around 8 p.m.
A 71-year-old man from Battle Creek was standing outside a 2016 black Ford pickup truck on the highway. The man was experienced car troubles when his pickup was sideswiped by another driver at a high rate of speed. The impact caused the truck to hit the pedestrian.
