Detroit, MI - Car Crash Results in Injuries on I-96 near M-39

Detroit, MI (February 20, 2022) - - On Saturday night, February 19, at least one person was hurt following a traffic accident in Detroit. The crash was reported shortly after 9:00 p.m.

Local reports revealed that the wreck occurred on Interstate 96 near M-39 when an unspecified number of vehicles collided. Responders were dispatched to the scene shortly after the crash occurred in order to assist those involved. 

One or more victims were treated for injuries on-site and transported to local hospitals for further care as needed. Their identities have not been revealed at this time. 

Local authorities are handling the ongoing accident investigation.
