Detroit, MI (June 18, 2023) - On Saturday, June 17, an 8-year-old was killed after being hit by a motor vehicle in Detroit.
The fatal accident took place at the intersection of Fielding and Belton Streets that afternoon. The victim was crossing the street when he was struck by a Ford Taurus driven by a 19-year-old woman. The injured pedestrian was transported to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
