Detroit, MI (July 30, 2023) - On Sunday night, July 30, police from the Detroit Police Department responded to a crash involving many vehicles and injuries, and they are now seeking witnesses to help in their investigation.
Slightly after 10:30 PM, a DPD scanner alert stated that a car collision had occurred on southbound I-75 between the exits for Michigan Highway 102 and 8 Mile Road.
Officers from the Detroit Police Department blocked off multiple lanes of traffic on the left and called for help from local emergency medical technicians, who arrived at the scene of the collision shortly afterward. It is unclear how many people were hurt in the crash, but police said one car went on to smash a concrete wall following the first impact.
The DPD has not provided any other details but continues to investigate.
