Detroit, MI - Rollover Wreck Causes Injuries on M-53

Detroit, MI (September 8, 2023) - On Friday night, September 8, several vehicles collided on Michigan State Route 53, prompting the Detroit Police Department to get an accident alert and a report of injuries.

According to the DPD and the Michigan DOT, the collision took place in the southbound lanes of the highway at around 6:30 p.m. The rollover incident that prompted the activation of emergency services slowed down multiple lanes of traffic and, according to early investigations, included two drivers and a few passengers.

Shortly after, paramedics came, but we still don't know anything about the victims' conditions.

In the meantime, police are continuing their investigation and will provide more details as they become available.
