Detroit, MI (September 15, 2023) – On Friday evening, September 15, multiple vehicles collided in the right lanes of the highway on I-96 in Detroit, leading to victim injuries, as reported by Michigan State Police troopers and local officers.
According to a report from troopers with the MSP, at least one of the drivers involved in the collision, which occurred on the eastbound side of I-96 at the Schaefer Highway, was assessed for injuries before being transported to an area hospital. Though officers wrapped up their on-scene investigation, which started shortly after the wreck was reported at 8:10 p.m., they have not provided specific details about the victims involved.
