Injury-Causing Accidents in Michigan
When another motorist’s negligence causes a collision, even the most circumspect driver may sustain serious injuries.
It is not unique to the Great Lakes State that millions of people are injured annually in motor vehicle collisions. The Michigan Office of Highway Safety Planning reports that Southeast Michigan alone has more than three million registered vehicles. Every two minutes, an automobile collision occurs somewhere in the state. There were approximately 980 fatalities and 76,000 injuries in Michigan in a single year.
Intoxicated driving, heedless driving, and violations of other traffic regulations may also contribute to automobile accidents. A competent auto accident attorney who can advocate for you regardless of who is at fault is essential.
Too many drivers mistakenly believe they do not need legal representation. After an automobile catastrophe, consulting with an experienced attorney may help you safeguard your legal rights and obtain the compensation to which you are entitled. With the assistance of an auto accident attorney, navigating the legal complexities of a personal injury claim and the insurance company’s potential efforts to contest your claim may be simplified.
There are a few things you should do immediately after an accident, and consulting with an experienced car accident attorney should be your top priority. First, gather as much information as possible about the accident itself. Before hiring a Michigan car accident attorney to fight for your just compensation, you should contact your insurance company and the police about the accident.
