Detroit, MI (September 20, 2023) – On Wednesday evening, September 20, a multi-vehicle collision at a local intersection in the Detroit area resulted in the death of one individual.
The police received a report of an accident around 9:30 a.m. and responded to the 16th Circuit Court near downtown Clements. At the collision scene, one of the vehicles reportedly overturned, obstructing the roadway. Detroit Police Department officers contacted local EMS personnel and Michigan State Police troopers for assistance with the investigation.
It is unknown how many people were involved in the accident, but paramedics arrived promptly to assist the injured. Shortly thereafter, one person was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The DPD is requesting that anyone with information come forward. In the meantime, officers are conducting an investigation.
