Detroit, MI – Injury Crash Reported on I-94 near Woodward Ave Bridge

(November 16, 2023) – The Michigan State Police confirmed that a motor vehicle accident occurred in the Detroit area following a police chase that started in Macomb County. The incident unfolded at around 2:45 p.m. on November 15.

According to reports from the Michigan State Police, an officer with the Warren Police Department was pursuing a vehicle on the westbound side of Interstate 94 when the police car, the suspect vehicle, and multiple other vehicles on the roadway collided near the Woodward Avenue Bridge. One person was transported to an area hospital for the treatment of serious injuries. A second victim was transported to a local hospital for emergency care. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
