Flint, MI (February 4, 2024) – The Flint Police Department and area firefighters were called to provide assistance at the scene of an automobile accident that occurred on Saturday afternoon, February 3. Calls for help came in at approximately 1:40 p.m.

Police reports indicate that vehicles collided on South Dort Highway near Eldon Baker Drive. The incident prompted the closure of the roadway as emergency crews remained at the scene, removing the involved vehicles. At least one person was injured in the accident. Medical personnel responded to the scene of the collision to care for those harmed and transport those in need of further care to area hospitals. At this time, the crash is being investigated.
