Jackson, MI (February 8, 2024) – A pedestrian accident reported in the Jackson area claimed one person’s life. The police, firefighters, and emergency medical services personnel are all requested at the scene at approximately 8:40 p.m. on February 6.

According to law enforcement, a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of West Michigan Avenue and West Avenue. Authorities responded to the scene of the accident to provide care to the victim. EMS personnel provided CPR to the victim while at the scene. However, the pedestrian, identified as an adult male, was fatally injured and passed away while still on site. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
