Emmet, MI (February 18, 2024) – At least one person was transported to a local medical facility for the treatment of injuries as a result of a motor vehicle accident that occurred in Emmet on Friday afternoon, February 16. Calls for assistance came in at around 3:55 p.m.

Law enforcement reports indicate that vehicles collided on Intertown Road near US Highway 131. The incident blocked several lanes of the intersection, causing severe delays throughout the area.
