Ann Arbor, MI (February 26, 2024) – The police and firefighters out of Washtenaw County were called to the scene of an accident that occurred on Sunday afternoon and ended in injuries. The Michigan Department of Transportation reported the accident at approximately 12:45 p.m. on February 25.

According to law enforcement reports, vehicles collided on the southbound side of US Highway 23, blocking the left lane of the road. Delays were reported in the area after Michigan 14 at exit 45. Emergency medical services responded to care for injured victims on-site and transport those in need of further care to area hospitals. The police and firefighters remained at the scene to clear the roadway. At this time, the police are investigating to determine what caused the accident.
