Kent, MI – Accident Reported on US-131 near I-96 Ramp

Kent, MI (April 25, 2024) – The police and firefighters were called to the scene of a car crash that occurred in the Kent area on Wednesday evening, April 24. The Michigan State Police was notified of the accident at around 6:35 p.m.

According to official reports, an automobile accident occurred on the southbound side of US Highway  131. The incident blocked multiple lanes on the southbound on-ramp from West on Interstate 196. Police and firefighters worked quickly to remove the involved vehicles from the scene. EMS responded to the crash site to evaluate the victims and transport those who required further medical care to area hospitals. At this time, the accident is under investigation.
