Saginaw, MI – S Washington Ave Crash Leaves One Man Injured

Saginaw, MI (May 10, 2024) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the Saginaw area on Monday evening ended in injuries. At around 10:20 p.m. on May 6, the police and firefighters were called to the scene of a major accident on South Washington Avenue.

According to official reports, a 44-year-old man was riding a moped south on the roadway. As he proceeded through the area of Ezra Rust Drive, a 2017 Chevrolet Equinox, driven north by a 23-year-old woman, crossed in front of him. As a result, the two vehicles collided. The man was then run over by the vehicle. The man was seriously injured in the accident. He was transported to a local hospital for emergency medical care. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
