Detroit, MI (December 17, 2021) – On December 16, Thursday, just before 6:00 a.m, a serious car crash happened on a roadway in Airport, Detroit. Multiple responders were sent to the scene where three people were trapped inside of a burning vehicle.
When responders arrived at the crash site, located at the intersection of Mound Road and East Davison Street, they found a vehicle that had collided with a tree and then caught fire. Three people inside the car were in need of emergency extrication.
Fire crews worked to free the victims from the fire. They were treated by EMS after they were able to exit the vehicle.
At this time, no one involved has been identified. Authorities in Detroit continue to investigate the details of the wreck.
