Grand Rapids, MI (December 21, 2021) – A traffic collision in Grand Rapids resulted in injuries on Sunday, December 19. Initial reports reveal the wreck happened at approximately 11:45 a.m.
The stretch between Breton Road and Woodland Avenue on 28th Street was blocked off by police due to the collision occurring in the area. At least one person was reportedly hurt and power lines were brought down as a result of the crash.
The eastbound lanes of 28th Street were shut down as crews worked to clear the scene. Paramedics assisted injured parties on-site and transported those in need of further care to area medical centers.
At this time, authorities in Grand Rapids continue to investigate the circumstances of the wreck.
