Mason, MI (December 28, 2021) - A major crash was reported to authorities in Ingham County, Mason on the afternoon of December 21. At approximately 3:51 p.m., an accident between an unspecified number of vehicles happened in the southbound lanes of US-127.
The wreck happened on US-27 after Dunckel Road/Exit 11. Numerous responders were sent to assist at the crash scene shortly after it took place.
At least one person was transported from the scene with injuries. Currently, those involved have not been identified to the public.
Traffic was delayed in the vicinity of the crash scene while the freeway was closed for some time throughout the early evening hours. Local motorists were urged to find different routes of travel for the time being.
