Saginaw Twp, MI (January 4, 2022) - A multi-vehicle accident in Saginaw Township on Monday night, January 3, left one person dead and several others injured. The deadly crash was reported at the intersection of Midland and McCarty Roads at around 9:07 p.m.
When emergency responders arrived, they found multiple people unconscious in their vehicles. A 2015 Ford Focus, a 2004 Mercury Marquis, and a 2016 Buick Regal were involved in the collision. The injured parties had to be extricated from the vehicles.
A passenger traveling in the front seat of the Marquis, a 79-year-old Davison woman, sustained fatal injuries in the crash. The Focus reportedly crossed the centerline and crashed head-on with the Marquis. All three drivers were transported to a local hospital for treatment of sustained injuries.
An ongoing investigation into the deadly accident is underway.
