Ann Arbor, MI (February 19, 2022) – A car crash on a roadway in Ann Arbor resulted in injuries and traffic delays on February 18. The wreck was reported to authorities at approximately 5:34 a.m., according to reports provided by officials
The incident occurred in the southbound lanes of US-23 after exit 27, Carpenter Road. The freeway was closed for several hours on Tuesday.
The area was active with responders for several hours while they worked to determine the cause of the accident and assist injured parties at the scene. At least one person was transported from the site of the crash to a local hospital for treatment.
At this time, the total number of injured victims has not been reported as police continue to investigate. Traffic was heavy in the area and police asked local motorists to use alternate routes.
