Detroit, MI (February 26, 2022) - Police in Detroit said a woman is dead due to a fatal auto accident that occurred on Friday, February 25. The incident took place when a man left his residence after a domestic dispute and caused an accident.
Detroit Police Chief stated that the man took off in a vehicle and crashed into a taxi cab at the intersection of East Warren Drive and Dickerson Avenue. A female passenger in the taxi was hit and killed as a result.
Unmarked vehicles and heavy police presence blocked the intersection while authorities investigated the circumstances of the collision. The names of those involved have not been released at this time.
The condition of the Taxi cab’s driver currently remains unknown. Detroit police continue to investigate.
