Michigan Auto Collisions
On average, in the state of Michigan, there are over 300,000 car crashes per year. More than 75,000 people sustain injuries in these accidents and over 1,000 are killed. In the winter months, Michigan is the most dangerous state to travel in throughout the United States, even beating out Alaska for the number of fatalities that take place.
Crash victims are often faced with painful and sometimes debilitating injuries. These injuries usually require costly medical treatment that can take up a lot of time. Depending on the severity of the injuries themselves, treatment can last for days, weeks, or months. A lot of time, energy, and money can be spent on recovery from an auto crash, which can feel draining for victims.
Depending on the extent of the injuries, emergency/repeat surgeries may even be required for a successful recovery. These circumstances are not only physically and emotionally difficult to deal with, they can also quickly empty a person’s bank account, leaving them with little to no financial resources. A car crash lawyer in Michigan may be able to help you if you find yourself stuck in a situation like this.
