Grand Traverse, MI – Auto Accident on US-31 at S Airport Rd

Grand Traverse, MI (December 12, 2023) – Emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed at the scene of an automobile accident on Monday morning in Grand Traverse. The accident occurred at around 10:50 a.m. on December 11.

According to area news reports, a collision between vehicles took place on US Highway 31, just north of the intersection with South Airport Road. The incident blocked the southbound side and the northbound sides of the liens at the intersection, causing delays throughout the area.

Emergency medical services personnel were dispatched to care for injured victims on-site. Medical personnel transported the injured victims to local hospitals, where they underwent further care. The state police in Michigan are currently investigating to determine what led to the accident taking place.
