Grand Rapids, MI (December 27, 2023) – Officials out of Kent County were requested at the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the Grand Rapids area that ended in injuries. The accident was reported just after 5:10 a.m. on December 26.
According to reports provided by the Michigan Department of Transportation, a vehicle collision occurred on the northbound side of US Highway 131. The crash caused disruptions in the area just after Market Avenue Southwest at Exit 84A. Emergency officials responded to remove the involved vehicles from the scene. At least one person was injured and had to be transported by ambulance to a local medical facility for further care. At this time, the circumstances surrounding the accident are being investigated.
