Detroit, MI – Accident with Injuries at M-39 & Michigan Ave

Detroit, MI (December 29, 2023) – At around 4:10 p.m. on December 28, officers with the Michigan State Police responded to the scene of an automobile accident in Wayne County that resulted in injuries.

According to reports provided by MSP, a collision occurred on the southbound side of Michigan 39 near Michigan Avenue. The incident blocked the right shoulder and the entrance ramp on the roadway, causing some delays in the area. The injured victims were treated by emergency medical services prior to their transfer to local hospitals for further care. At this time, an investigation is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the crash.
