Kent Co., MI (January 1, 2024) – Emergency crews were requested to provide assistance at the scene of an automobile accident in which at least one person sustained injuries. The crash was reported at around 10:40 a.m. on December 31.
According to reports provided by the Michigan State Police, a collision blocked the southbound side of US Highway 131 in the area just after Market Avenue. The incident caused some disruptions in the area as emergency crews went to work on removing the involved vehicles. Emergency medical services responded to the site of the crash to care for the injured victims. An unknown number of people were transported to local hospitals, where they underwent further medical care. At this time, the crash is being investigated.
