Milton Twp., MI (January 11, 2024) – The Antrim County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that a 66-year-old woman lost her life as a result of an automobile accident that took place in Milton Township. The accident was reported on January 8.

Reports provided by the Sheriff’s office indicate that a collision took place on US Highway 31 in the area near Cairn Highway. The force of the crash caused one vehicle to go off the roadway, where it collided with multiple trees before coming to rest. The incident prompted the Sheriff’s Office to close the roadway as they provided assistance. The 66-year-old driver of the vehicle sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased by authorities. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
