Marquette Twp., MI (March 18, 2024) – The Sheriff’s office confirmed that a 23-year-old lost their life as a result of a fatal fire that occurred on Friday evening. The incident occurred on County Road 492 near Everly Way.

Official reports show that on March 15, a car fire occurred for unknown reasons. Firefighters rushed to the scene and began battling the blaze. The victim, who was the only person in the vehicle, was pronounced deceased from the injuries. At this time, the Marquette County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
