Detroit, MI (December 6, 2021) – A pedestrian was injured at about 5:43 p.m. on Sunday, December 5 when he was involved in a traffic collision in Detroit.
Police said that the unidentified victim was hit by a car in the 500 block of Monroe Road near the Greektown Casino. Responders were called to the scene shortly after the wreck occurred to assist the injured person and investigate the circumstances of the accident.
Traffic was backed up in the area while crews worked on-site. The pedestrian was treated for injuries at the scene, however, whether or not they were transported to the hospital has not been reported.
Authorities continue to investigate the details of the incident.
