Michigan Car Crashes

Each year, approximately 6 million car crashes are reported in the United States. More than 300,000, or around 5% of those happen in Michigan. In the winter months, Michigan has been deemed the most dangerous place to drive in the United States, beating out Alaska for the number of fatalities associated with motor vehicle accidents. Sustaining injuries in an auto accident is often extremely difficult. The recovery periods associated with serious crash injuries are lengthy and exhaustive. They can last for weeks, months, or longer depending on the severity of the incident.

In the event that you or a family member has recently sustained injuries in a Michigan car wreck, it is likely that the wreck was caused by driver negligence. Human error is the leading cause of auto accidents in Michigan and throughout the United States, specifically things like driver distraction and intoxication. Allow a car crash attorney in Michigan to help you through the aftermath of your collision if you believe that the wreck was not your fault, but the fault of a negligent driver. Even if an accident is partially your fault, you may be eligible to collect a certain percentage of the compensation available for the damages you may have endured.
