Georgetown, MI (February 14, 2022) – On Sunday, February 13, an injury collision happened near Hudsonville. Initial reports state that the two-vehicle accident occurred at approximately 8:00 p.m. on Port Sheldon Street.
Officials including police and paramedics were sent to the crash scene to assist those involved. The wreck was located on Port Sheldon Street near Brookfield Drive in Georgetown. Reports show that an Amazon delivery van was stopped making a delivery when it was struck by another vehicle.
The delivery driver, identified as a Lowell resident, age 51, was immediately rushed to the hospital with injuries deemed non-life-threatening. The other driver involved, a 16-year-old girl from Wyoming, also sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
The roadway was closed while emergency personnel worked to secure the scene. No further information has been reported at this time as police continue to investigate.
