Detroit, MI (February 14, 2022) – A large pileup caused numerous injuries on a roadway in Detroit on Sunday, February 13. According to reports from officials, the incident involved more than 50 vehicles.
Sources say the accident happened on Interstate 96 east of Grand River Road. What caused the pileup is still under investigation at this time.
The Detroit Fire Department transported 17 motorists to local hospitals after the accident took place. The freeway was closed for an extended period of time while crews worked to secure the scene.
