Grand Rapids, MI (February 17, 2022) - Various responders were sent to assist at the scene of an auto accident reported in Grand Rapids on February 17. Sources say the incident occurred at around 12:40 p.m. Thursday.
The wreck took place on M-11, also known as 28th Street at Burlingame Avenue between two or more vehicles. Paramedics, police, and fire crews were observed on-site shortly after it happened.
The roadway was closed for some time while emergency personnel worked at the scene. The total number of injured parties has not been reported at this time.
Traffic was delayed in the area and police asked local drivers to avoid the vicinity of 28th Street and Burlingame Avenue while the scene was active. Authorities in Kent County continue to investigate the details of the crash.
