Webber Twp., MI (January 11, 2024) – A 35-year-old woman lost her life as a result of an automobile accident involving an ambulance that took place on Tuesday, January 9. The accident occurred at approximately 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

According to official reports, a Dodge Grand Caravan was heading southbound on Michigan 37 when the driver lost control of the vehicle. As a result, it collided with the Chevrolet Tahoe, which was traveling northbound on the roadway near 44^th Street. The driver of the caravan, identified as a 35-year-old woman, was injured.

She was extricated from her vehicle and transported by ambulance to a hospital in Grand Rapids for the treatment of minor injuries. While en route, the ambulance was struck by another vehicle. The impact of the crash immobilized the ambulance. A second ambulance responded to the scene to transport the woman to the Grand Rapids hospital. After arriving at the hospital, she was pronounced deceased from her injuries. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
