Ann Arbor, MI (February 8, 2024) – Officers with the Michigan State Police were notified that they were needed at the scene of a car crash that occurred in Washtenaw County during the afternoon hours on Tuesday, February 6. Emergency dispatchers were notified of the collision at approximately 3:15 p.m.

Area news sources reported that a crash occurred on the northbound side of US Highway 23. The incident blocked the left lane of the road near Willis Road at Exit 31. Emergency medical services responded to treat injured victims while on site. At least one of the people involved in the crash was injured and transported to a local hospital for further medical care. At this time, the circumstances surrounding the crash are being investigated.
