Grand Rapids, MI (February 8, 2024) – The Michigan State Police were requested to provide help at the scene of an automobile accident that took place during the morning hours on Wednesday, February 7. Law enforcement was notified of the crash at around 9:20 a.m.

According to reports from MSP, a collision blocked both the northbound and southbound side of Michigan 37 during the morning hours. The incident resulted in police and firefighters closing off a portion of the roadway between 17 Mile Road and Fruit Ridge Avenue. Emergency officials responded to the scene to assist with the injured victims. Medics transported the injured victims who required further treatment and evaluation to local hospitals. At this time, the crash is being investigated.
